1st Day of School

Crazy Saturaday!!

Last Saturday Jim went fishing and the kids and I stayed home. Just hanging out. About 4pm Katelynn's throat started to bleed (alot). I had her drink ice cold water and put ice on her throat. We got it to stop bleed for about 20 mins then it started again and we couldn't get it to stop. So I called the on call doc and he said we needed to get to the ER now. So we got in the car and went to Ontario. Carlon came right over and keep the boys for me. Katelynn was not doing good on the way over. Throwing up alot and blood everywhere. When we got there, there wasn't a doc that could cotteries her throat and the on call doc wanted her in Boise ASAP. There was a wreck on the freeway so we had to take a helicopter ride (Life Flight). About 20mins after getting to boise she was in surgery. The doctor said he found 3 spots that needed his help. During call this we couldn't get ahold of Jim. He was still fishing. Katelynn and I stayed the night in st als that night. We got to her room about 10:30 and Jim called about 10:40. Nana, Papa, Ken and Ashley meet us at the hosp. It was wonderful to have them there while Katelynn was in surgery. Other family wanted to come over also but I said we would be ok. Katelynn and I were very blessed this day in many ways and I know we were watched over and protected.
