7 Wonderful Years!!!

March 9th, 2009 We have been married for 7 years. I'm so thankful for a fabulous husband and companion. Look were we started and were we are know. We are so blessed!!! We have a wonderful family. We have been through alot and I wouldn't have wonted to go through it with anyone else but my GREAT HUSBAND!!! I love you honey!!!

Thankful Thursday

So one of my friends does a thankful Thursday on her blog and I thought it was a great idea so I'm going to try it. Thank you Shannon.

I'm thankful for my wonderful husband, my smart and busy kids and for my amazing friends and family that keep me going. I'm thankful for a fabulous mom. That deserves the world. I'm thankful for pray. It keeps me going also. I'm thankful for our home and my husbands job. I'm thankful for my calling. I truly love all the kids and there sweet spirits. That's whats on my mind today more next week.

Katelynn's Funny

So tonight the kids and I were watching High School Musical 3 for like the 10th time. So the main character (Troy) had just put on his basket ball jersey. And Katelynn says "He's perfect know" I said "What, He's perfect" She says "Yep" "So what does that mean" I ask, Katelynn says "He is handsome" I asked her who taught her that. She told me that she learned it by her self when she was little. I had to laugh.

Tuesday's Doctor Visit

So Tuesday we went to the doc for Katelynn to get her 4 years old shots. Yes I know that she is almost 5. I was putting it off as long as I could. We have to sign up for kindergarten this month so I thought I better suck it up and get them done. It WAS as BAD as I thought it would be. She screamed at the top of her lungs even before they gave her a shot. It was so loud and pursing to the ears. It took 2 nurses and me with my hand on her to get all FOUR shots. Zachary was screaming as well. Trevor was crying when it was all done. Asking (whats wrong with sissy). It was so sweet. Also Zachary has an ear infection in his left ear. Poor kids. (Poor Mommy) It was a really rough day. After the doc we went and pick up a pizza for dinner. That's what Katelynn wanted. And ice cream on the way home. Katelynn still loves me but says mom I don't need any more shots. So the next shot time is when Zachary turns one.

Bean Jars

So for family home evening tonight we did good behavior bean jars. When the kids are good or do good deeds they get a scoop of beans in there jar. Or if they misbehave a scoop can be taken out. When the jars are full they each get to pick what there prize is. Katelynn wants to go to the movie theater and I'm not sure if Trevor really understands the jar thing yet. They each got a scoop after making there jars. And after a crazy bath time tonight a half scoop was taken out. So we will see what tomorrow brings. I will keep you updated on the jars.

Happy 23rd Birthday Little Brother

Happy Birthday Jason Cody!!! Today you would be 23. You old fart. I cant believe another birthday has came and gone. When mom told me that she went out and sat by your graveside for 3 hours today. It ripped me up inside. No mother should have to sit by her child's graveside. I have so many emotions going through my mind. They are hard to put in words. I'm so grateful that I had you for a brother. Also grateful that I have my 3 wonderful children to remind me of you all the time. Katelynn and Zachary and there big blue eyes. Zachary with his light blond hair. Trevor with his smart, busy and wild personality that you always had. Katelynn and her thoughtfulness to everyone. You were always so thoughtful. Everyone always says that the lord will only give you trails that you can handle. Some days I wonder if I can really handle this one. Other days I know that I can. I pray for strength to take care of my children and mom. I'm so thankful for a wonderful husband and great friends and family to help me everyday. I love you Jason and I think of you everyday. Happy Birthday Buddy!!!

Many Faces Of Zachary

Zachary Cody is so sweet. I love taking his picture and he loves the camera. I just wanted everyone to see how sweet he is and how big he is getting.

Rock Stars

Here are my rock stars. The kids love playing guitars with daddy. They play all the time. They sing church songs to save a horse ride a cowboy. Its so cute. Here is Jim's dream his own little band. I'm so grateful for Jim's talent of playing the guitar. I know that the kids are too.

Rockin Roll

We were getting ready for the day and Katelynn never wants me to curl her hair. This morning Katelynn ask "Are you going to curl my hair today mommy"? I told her "Yes" She said "I don't want you to curl my hair because you cant do rock in roll with curly hair". I had to laugh and explain that you CAN do rock in roll with curly hair. She says the funniest things sometimes and I love it.
